Modular Bong. Build It Your Way.

Interchangeable parts. Fully customizable. Easier to clean than anything else you've owned.

What a Modular Bong Actually Changes

A traditional bong is one fixed piece of glass. You're stuck with the size, the shape, and the cleaning problem that comes with it. A modular bong works differently — it separates into individual components that screw together, so you can change the setup and actually reach every surface when it's time to clean.

The Capsule is built on this principle. The base, chamber, and mouthpiece each unscrew completely. You can hold every section in your hand and clean it directly — no shaking iso blindly into a sealed tube and hoping for the best. It's the reason the Capsule has been named Best Bong by Gear Patrol three years running.

Modular also means replaceable. If one part takes a hit, you replace that part, not the whole piece. That's a different relationship with your gear than most people are used to.

How modular bongs compare to traditional glass

Traditional one-piece bongs are sealed units. The base is permanently attached, which means resin builds up in places you can never reach. Cleaning becomes a maintenance problem instead of a five-minute routine. Modular bongs eliminate that entirely — every section comes apart, every surface is accessible, and the cleaning process is fast enough that you'll actually do it regularly.

The other difference is durability. With a traditional bong, one crack means replacing everything. With a modular design, parts are individually replaceable. The investment holds up differently over time.

Common questions

What is a modular bong?
A modular bong is a water pipe built from separate components — typically a base, chamber, and mouthpiece — that connect and disconnect without tools. Each section can be cleaned individually, replaced if damaged, or swapped out to change the setup. It's the opposite of a traditional one-piece glass bong.

What is a "build a bong" setup?
Building a bong means choosing individual components and assembling them into a complete piece. Some modular systems let you mix bases, chambers, and mouthpieces to customize airflow, height, and filtration. The Capsule takes a cleaner approach — a fully engineered modular system designed to work as one cohesive piece rather than a mix-and-match collection of parts.

Are modular bongs easier to clean?
Significantly. Because the piece fully disassembles, you can reach every interior surface directly. No tools, no pipe cleaners fishing around inside a sealed base. A full clean takes under five minutes. That's not possible with a traditional one-piece bong.

Can you customize a modular bong?
Yes. At minimum, modular bongs let you replace individual parts as they wear or break. More advanced setups allow you to swap components to change the size or function of the piece. The Capsule's design focuses on delivering a complete, refined experience out of the box — with replaceable parts if you ever need them.
